In a developing case linked to the tragic killing of 27-year-old Divya Pahuja, a former model, authorities have confirmed the arrest of three suspects. The victim, Divya Pahuja, was allegedly murdered at a Gurugram hotel owned by the primary suspect, Abhijeet Singh.
The police identified Abhijeet Singh as the owner of the hotel where the traumatic incident transpired. According to the police, Divya, recently released on bail with the alleged fake encounter of Gurugram’s most-wanted gangster, Sandeep Gadoli, was found shot dead in the hotel. Singh claimed Divya attempted extortion using compromising photos, which her family strongly refutes.
CCTV footage reviewed by the authorities revealed that the accused allegedly moved the victim’s body from the hotel to a car. The Superintendent of Police, Mukesh Kumar, confirmed this revelation based on the surveillance footage from the scene.
The family of the deceased, Divya (27), accused Abhijeet, the hotel owner, alleging that she was last seen with him. Further investigation into the matter is ongoing, as stated by the police, who registered a case under pertinent sections at Police Station Sector-14, Gurugram. The investigative team is actively pursuing the case.
The Gurugram Crime Branch apprehended three suspects, including the main accused, Abhijeet Singh, along with Hemraj (28) and Omprakash (23). Police are on a hunt to track down the two or three others involved in the case and to recover Divya’s body, police said.
