PANJIM: On humanitarian grounds, the transfer of Aruna Wagh, wife of former MLA Vishnu Wagh, to Mumbai has been cancelled. The cancellation was effected through the efforts of AYUSH Minister Shripad Naik, his office said.
The Minister also appealed to Aruna not to make irresponsible statements in the media and make a political issue of the transfer. In a statement the minister said the transfer cancellation was delayed as the concerned signatory authority was on leave.
