Assam youth cleared of terror charges

The Goa Police on Monday said that the 18-year-old youth arrested in Naval area, has no terror links.
Disclosing this at a media briefing, Superintendent of Police (CID Special Branch) said that the police have conducted in-depth inquiry and found that he has no links with terrorist.
‘Our team is in Delhi with the suspect but we have not found any terror links of the youth,’ he said adding ‘he has absolutely no terror links’.
The youth was arrested by Naval authorities in mysterious circumstances with both his hands tied, inside the restricted area last week and was later handed over to Mormugao police.
Sources in the police have informed that the police team will arrive in State on Tuesday with the suspect.
