VASCO: The villagers of Assoi-Dongri were furious after Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) kits were dumped in a natural spring.
Annoyed after noticing the PPE kits dumped in the spring in the village, the locals immediately informed the Chicalim sarpanch about the incident.
Sarpanch Sebastiao Pereira informed that locals from Assoi-Dongri complained to him about PPE kits and other COVID gear belonging to some airlines operating at the Dabolim Airport were reportedly dumped in the natural spring.
The sarpanch said he would conduct site inspection along with the panchas to know the ground reality and vowed strict action.
He condemned the act of dumping the PPE kits and COVID protective gear in the natural spring.
