VASCO: Mormugao Police on Thursday nabbed one accused Khalil Fakir allegedly involved in the attack on RTI activist Narayan Naik near Sancoale Panchayat few days ago.
According to police sources, Khalil (23) was arrested by Mormugao Police at around 5.30 am in connection with the recent deadly attack on RTI activist Narayan Naik in Sancoale, recently. The police brought him to the Mormugao Police Station and likely to hand over to the Crime Branch. Another suspect, who is at large, Ismail Sheikh alias Kabbu, is yet to be arrested. After 19 days, Mormugao Police managed to arrest Khalil near the El Monte Theatre.
