Awards in the field of Konkani music

Clown Entertainers, a Goan non-resident cum resident organization will give away awards for outstanding performance in the field of Konkani music.
Peter Fernandes stated that the awards will be judged by non-biased professionals purely on merit, adding that an audience vote will make the selection process air tight.
Those eligible are music audio and video CDs released from January 1, 2009 to December 31, 2010. The awards will be given to various categories, including best male and female singer, best child artist, best music mixing, best lyrics, best music composition, best album cover, best  gospel song, best comedy song etc.
Entry forms are available at all leading music stores in the state. Entries should be posted to PO Box 170, Margao by January 20 2011 along with lyrics and 10 CDs.
