A village-level meeting was held in Keri on Wednesday evening. Mandrem MLA Jit Arolkar along with the nine village panchayats of Mandrem constituency has taken aggressive stance to campaign demanding scrapping of the controversial zoning plan.
“In order to make the people aware of this zoning plan, we have started public awareness meetings about the zoning plan where we will go to every village to take the villagers into confidence,” said Arolkar.
