According to information, a one-year-old baby Yekshit Kumar, residing behind the animal shelter in Shantinagar Vasco, was suffering from fever since last few days and blood test report by a based private lab in Vasco came positive. The news of dengue case reported at Shantinagar created panic among the locals especially those residing near the animal shelter. Residents alleged that due to unhygienic conditions in the animal shelter, the child suffered from dengue.
