Bag snatchers target Brit at Majorda beach

Bag snatching has come back to haunt the Colva police once again.
Even as the police have failed to detect the spate of chain and bag snatching cases reported in recent times, a British woman became the latest victim of bag snatching at Majorda beach on Sunday evening.
A complaint to this effect was lodged with the Colva police on Monday, wherein the complaint stated that while she was walking on the beach, two motorcycle borne-miscreants came on the scene and snatched her bag.
Pounds all worth around Rs 65,000 was lifted from the bag.
The Colva police are investigating the case.
