VASCO: Mata School in Baina, Vasco, will get tar road after 12 long years of wait. The road will benefit locals and more importantly the students of the school.
Vasco MLA and others have thanked the Mormugao Port Trust chairman for having given the go ahead for the road.
For several years the students and locals Mata School and several other students have been travelling on this bad road.
The people have thanked the local MLA and MPT for allowing the construction of the road. “We thank the new Chairman of MPT for having given the nod for the road without which we couldn’t have been able to complete the work,” said former MMC chairperson Deepak Naik.
Vasco MLA Carlos Almeida thanked the MPT and Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar for having facilitated the work. “We want to shift the Mata School near Tanya Hotel in the Comunidade land and the discussion for the same is on,” he said.
