PANJIM: Indian Development Foundation (IDF) recently opened the State’s 5th Bal-Gurukul at St Anthony’s High School, Veroda-Cuncolim.
IDF Manager (Corporate Affairs) C A Mathew inaugurated the Bal Gurukul, the 151st in the country, in the presence of St Anthony’s HS Manager Fr William Rebello, IDF Goa coordinator Jose Mario Quadros and others.
Earlier, students of St Anthony HS (primary section) performed a prayer dance. School Manager Fr William Rebello welcomed the gathering, teacher Katherine Coutinho introduced IDF Manager (Corporate Affairs) Mathew, while PTA Chairman Moses Tavares proposed the vote of thanks.
