MARGAO: Santana Fernandes, aged 61, from Balli Quepem who sustained injuries in a road accident succumbed to injuries at the GMC Bambolim
Police stated that a 24-yr-old woman from Bangalore drove her car in rash and negligent manner and caused the death of pillion rider while injuring the bike rider at Cuncolim
PI Cuncolim Tukaram Chavan said that pillion rider Santana Fernandes, aged 61, from Balli Qupem who sustained injuries died at the GMC Bambolim while the scooterist Minguel Fernandes suffered injuries.
Police said that after woman fled from the accident spot without intimating police.
PSI Kavita Rawat based on the complaint has registered the offence under section 279 337 and 304 A of IPC .
