PONDA: Banastari market, which had temporarily suspended its operation since April 27 on account of rising COVID cases, will resume on September 1, disclosed Bhoma Adkon Panchayat Sarpanch Sunil Zalmi.
Zalmi along with panch member Shailesh Naik, while addressing to media, further said that the famous Chaturthi Matoli Bazaar will start from September 7 and will continue till September 10 by following proper COVID guidelines.
“Since the work on new Banstari market is in progress the market will be temporarily operational behind Maruti Temple. The special Matoli Bazaar will be also functioning in and around Maruti Temple,” Zalmi said.
