PONDA: Six out of eleven panchas of Bandora Panchayat had initiated a no-confidence motion against Sarpanch Ramchandra Naik and Deputy Saloni Gaude, which has been submitted to Ponda BDO.
The reason for the no-confidence motion is that the sarpanch did not take others into confidence while undertaking development work. Besides, many development work planned by panchas were halted due to lack of cooperation from the sarpanch.
The six members who have signed the memorandum include Rajendra Naik, Zahirruddin Mulla, Ajay Naik, Bhaskar Naik, Vaishali Gaude and Nitesh Mulvi.
