Bang for the buck!

After much debate on whether I should go for a full fledged DSLR or a compact digital camera, I bought this baby in red.
The clarity is really nice with great picture quality as compared to digital cameras available in this price range. Outdoor
pictures are great, sharp with fine details. The camera allows one to click high resolution pictures (16megapixel). The
auto mode is awesome; other shooting modes like super vivid, low light, long exposure and live are great too and
help in customising the shots. The P mode is available for fully personalized picture taking for experienced hands. Auto
generally does all the job for you and does it great. There are three types of Auto Focus frames that are
available – Face detection, tracking and center. Furthermore, one can make use of three types of focus – near, normal
and infinity. The digital zoom is great but it is difficult to take a stable shot with full zoom on. As far as video recording is
concerned, the camera shoots HD videos at 25 FPS. The only downside of this camera, according to me, is
that if you are using the camera in low light indoors without the flash, it will produce noise or darker images. Try switching
to Auto with flash on, or to low light mode with Flash on, and it will do the trick.
All in all, a great camera for beginners and casual photographers at a very low price.
