VASCO: The Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industries (GCCI) has extended full support to the Goa Barge Owners’ Association in fulfilling their demands of Debt Relief scheme extension and barge tax exemption.
The Deputy Captain of Ports Premlal Sirsaikar, GCCI president Sandip Bhandare and other GBOA members were present at the ceremony of immersing the coconut in River Mandovi marking the opening of the Aguada Sand bars and opening of Navigational channel of Panjim Port was held on Wednesday. GBOA president Raymond D’Sa said that they are thankful to Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar for writing to Union Mines Minister to allow the resumption of mining in Goa.
