BE final SEE in online mode from July 20

PANJIM: The Goa University on Wednesday announced that the final semester end examination (SEE) for the Bachelor of Engineering Programme, offered by the affiliated colleges, will be held in online mode from July 20.

In a notification issued, the University has also said that the due weightage will be given to previous semesters to reflect the overall performance of the students in the programme of study.

The University has said that there will be Common Question Paper from the University (except of semester Vill repeaters: truncated syllabus) and the duration will be of two hours.

“For Online Examinations, the question papers shall be sent to the students through any of the platforms that is Google Classroom, Moodle, email, Whatsapp, etc.,” GU said adding that the students will write down the answers and then scan/photograph and upload the answer sheet. 

It has further said that all the pending Internal Test (IT) for all the regular students shall be conducted in online mode only. The two best scores shall be considered.

For computing the result weightage will be given for the performance in semester V-VIII that is 

 20% of the total marks obtained in semester V and VI each and 30 per cent each for the total marks obtained in semester VII and in the subjects of semester VIII.
