PERNEM: The issue of beautification of the taxi stand and the planned development of the area was discussed at the Pernem Municipal Council’s meeting was convened on Thursday.
A crucial decision was taken where it was decided to put information on notice board regarding the necessary documents required for locals to avail PMC schemes or certificates they have to submit to the civic body. It was also resolved to grant house numbers to constructions built after 6th February, 2018 in the areas coming under jurisdiction of panchayats and also spend funds from 14th Finance Commission Grant judiciously.
Chairperson Siddesh Pednekar welcomed all the PMC councillors to the meeting and approved minutes of the previous meeting which was attended by Chief Officer Anant Malik, councillors Usha Nagvekar, Rakhi Kashalkar, Shivram Tukoji, Madav Sinai Desai, Vishnu alias Bappa Salgaonkar and Manoj Harmalkar.
