MAPUSA: The Dnyanvardhini Divyang Training College under the management of Sanjay Centre for Special Education has invited applications for BEd Special Education (ID/MR) and DEd Special Education Specialisation: Intellectual Disability (ID) /(Mental Retardation) (MR) starting from the academic year 2020.
The BEd Special Education is a two-year academic degree course affiliated to Goa University and approved by the Rehabilitation Council of India. The overall aim is to train and nurture human resource professionals with a deep sense of commitment who would be the torchbearers to provide optimum training to Divyangjan (children with special needs) to grow and develop into contributing members of the society.
The DEd Special Education Course is approved by RCI at Sanjay Centre for Special Education, Porvorim and has already produced four batches of special educators with 100 per cent result. Both the courses have duration of two years and the principal focus area is teacher training in Special Education.
The minimum eligibility for BA/BSc Graduate with atleast 50 per cent, Engineering Graduate with atleast 55 per cent and Higher Secondary qualified in any stream with atleast 50 per cent. The last date for submission of application form for BEd (ID/MR) is August 14 and may refer.
