MARGAO: Additional Sessions Judge Vijaya Ambre posted for April 4 hearing of the trial against the accused in the Betalbatim gang-rape that took place in May last year.
The process of declaring accused Ishwar Makhwana as an absconder is almost complete and the proclamation is likely to be issued on April 4.
It may be recalled that Ishwar escaped from police custody in December last year while undergoing medical treatment. The ossification test report on another accused Ram Bariya, who claimed to be a minor, is also expected to be presented to the court on April 4.
