MARGAO: The people of Betalbatim have objected to the reservation of 3 of 7 wards for OBC even after physical OBC population of the ward being only 4.7 %.
The group that calls itself Betalbatim Development Front has also demanded delaying of all the elections of the Betalbatim as they claim that the previous elections will influence the other delayed wards.
BDF has taken objection on 3 wards reserved for OBC out of 7 wards. In Betalbatim, 4 wards will go for election on 11th June and 3 OBC reserved wards will go for election on 1st July.
