PONDA: Twelve-year-old Maseria Mohammadsen Desai, a resident of Dattagarh-Bethora and a native of Karnataka, died on Monday after having an accidental fall at her residence.
The incident took place at 11.30 am when the girl fell unconscious after the fall. She was rushed to a private hospital at Ponda but, the doctor on duty declared her brought dead.
Later her body was taken to GMC for postmortem.
According to the doctor, who examined her, informed that the cause of death may be due to “aspiration pneumonia”.
She is survived by her parents and elder brother.
