PONDA: Rajesh Parwar, Assistant Registrar of Cooperative Societies (ARCS) issued show cause notice to Shree Shri Gananath Sahakari Dudh Vya SauDstha Ltd at Nirankal, Bethora for not filing annual returns under section 81 of Act for preceding year 2019-20 within due period even after extended period.

This also includes annual audited or unaudited statements of accounts, reports of Board of Directors, Auditors report,audit rectification report ,notice of convening annual general body meeting etc.

This notice was issued as the general shareholders are unaware about financial status of their society and since audit of society for year 2019- 20 have not been completed, it is very difficult to ascertain the factual financial position of society.

The notice further said in terms of provision of Section 61 of said act, the Board of directors or managing committee incurs disqualification for not complying with the above routine and essential work of society.

The society management has been asked to clarify the matter within 15 days to avoid disqualification against all board of directors of society under the provisions of section 61 of the Goa Cooperative Societies Act 2001.

The notice has been served to the chairman of society, Vikas Prabu and its seven Directors. The copy has been also forwarded to RCS office Panjim.
