PANJIM: Crime Branch sleuths arrested a youth for allegedly possessing narcotics, following a raid at Miramar on Friday.
According to the FIR, the 23-year-old Betim resident Ajay Vangoti was caught red-handed for being in possession of 90 kg of green substance, suspected to be ganja.
The value of the seized substance is worth approximately Rs 20,000.
The police conducted the raid near Miramar circle.
The offense has been registered under Section 20(b)(ii)(A) of NDPS Act. Further investigation is on.
