PANJIM: Assistant Director of Education (Academic) and Secretary of Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) Bhagirath Shetye, has been appointed as the Board’s new chairman. He replaces Ramkrishna Samant, whose term ended on February 5, 2021.
Shetye has served as Goa Board Secretary for past several years and was recently promoted to the post of Deputy Director, Education. On being contacted by Herald, Shetye confirmed his new appointment.
