Bhoma locals object to road widening

Locals stated that if the road was widened for highway expansion then they would face great difficulties crossing it

PONDA: The Bhoma villagers vehemently opposed the widening of the National Highway into a four-lane road from Bhoma Bazar and suggested that the government find an alternative route for road widening.  

Sarpanch Damodar Naik, Panchayat member Sunil Bhomkar, Vishwajit Naik, Sanjay Naik and others were present at the meeting and backed the villagers on the issue.

Locals stated that if the road was widened for highway expansion then they would face great difficulties crossing it and added that there were two temples by the roadside too.
