PONDA: The villagers of Bhoma-Adcolna strongly opposed the proposed jetty at Banastarim, as well as the truck terminal reportedly being planned in the panchayat. Continuing their fight against the widening of the highway, the locals demanded that the panchayat write to the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) seeking a proper plan for the highway project, as they fear they could lose their shops and houses, and two temples.
