BICHOLIM: To help those who have undergone trauma of COVID-19 infection, Bicholim Community Health Centre (CHC) has set up post COVID-19 clinic.
The clinic was inaugurated by Bicholim MLA and Speaker Rajesh Patnekar in the presence of Health Officer Dr Medha Salkar, Bicholim Municipal Council Vice Chairman Kundan Falari, Advalpal Panchayat Sarpanch Narayan Salgoankar, Dr Shekhar Salkar, Dr Pushpraj Amonkar, Dr Krupali Tendolkar, Dr Siddhi and other staff of Bicholim CHC.
In his address, Speaker Patnekar congratulated Dr Medha and her staff for excellent work done during the COVID-19 pandemic situation. He also thanked the Department of Health for starting post COVID clinic for the people of Bicholim and surrounding areas.
Dr Medha stressed on the need to visit the post COVID clinic if any symptoms of difficulties in breathing, body aches and stress persisting after mandatory 17 days of isolation.
She also said, “The clinic will hold weekly sessions by experts such as pulmonologist, cardiologist, ophthalmologist and psychologist.”
