BICHOLIM: The Std XII Science students of Shri Shantadurga Higher Secondary School, Bicholim and their parents were in for a rude shock when they found discrepancies in their internal marks.
On Wednesday, when the results were given, the students and their parents, especially from the science stream, were shocked to find that the internal marks were less than the ones shown on the Goa Board website.
The students questioned the teachers about the discrepancies and sought to know as to who was at fault.
Speaking to Herald, several parents and students complained that the marks which were shown on the internet result of the Goa Board website and the marks entered on the mark-sheet were totally different.
“There is lot of difference and gross discrepancies in the internal marks of the science stream,” a parent claimed.
There are 207 students in the science stream and most had the same problem. Some students who missed first class claimed that the marks on the original marksheet were less.
