Bicholim man held for molestation

BICHOLIM, AUG 2
A 35-year-old man from Bicholim Industrial Estate has been arrested by Bicholim police on charges of molesting a 26-year-old woman.
According to Bicholim police, one Rajendra Dhawaskar, who was arrested on Sunday, entered the house of his neighbour on June 29 and molested the woman, who was residing with her daughter. Later, Dhawaskar threatened the woman with dire consequences.
However due to fear, the woman did not file a complaint with the police, but Dhawaskar started sending SMS to the woman. Finally on Friday, the woman filed a complaint against Dhawaskar.
Bicholim police arrested the accused under Sections 354, 509, 506, 504, 452 IPC and remanded him to three days police custody.
