Bicholim MLA Patnekar warns Cong

Bicholim MLA Rajesh Patnekar has warned the newly formed Congress supported Bicholim Municipal Council (BMC) not to usurp the credit for the development of the town from the previous council.
Patnekar said that defeat at the municipal level should not be construed as rejection of BJP. The defeat was due to the cunning reservation engineered by the government.
Despite the manipulation, the vote share of BJP has not decreased in the city.
When his attention was drawn to the fact of some BJP councillors supporting the ruling group, he said that it was only external and that it was necessary at the local level to ensure stability and development.
