Following a narcotics raid near the Kudchirem Football ground, Bicholim Police arrested 21-year-old Pravin Morjakar a resident of Tisk, Usgao. During the operation, Morjakar was apprehended while allegedly being in possession of approximately 375 grams of ganja, valued at Rs. 37,500.
He was caught red-handed with the substance. The police also seized his motorcycle, which was subsequently attached under the panchanama. A case was registered at Bicholim Police Station under Section 20 (b) (ii) (A) of the NDPS Act
Acting on credible information received on July 3, 2023, the police formed a raiding team consisting of PSI Vikesh Hadfadkar, PC Nil Desai, PC Shailesh Govekar, PC Gaurav Vaingankar, and PC Vishal Parab.
The raid was carried out under the supervision of Sagar Ekoskar, SDPO Bicholim, and Rahul Naik, Police Inspector of Bicholim Police Station. The investigation is currently being conducted by PSI Anil Polekar, under the guidance of Rahul Naik, Police Inspector, Bicholim Police Station.
