MARGAO (HR): The Maina Curtorim police on Saturday attached the motorcycle used by accused Nitin Bhosle in the headless body murder case to travel to Xelvona-Quepem to ascertain the condition of the burnt remains of the deceased head.
Margao Sub-divisional Police officer, DySP Umesh Gaonkar told newsmen that the accused had traveled on the motorcycle to Xelvona on the instructions of one of the accused persons to confirm the state of the burnt remnants. Replying to a question, he said that the police are now verifying the location at which the accused had kept the deceased for a day before his headless body was found dumped along the roadside at Nessai.
“The police are trying to find out where exactly the accused had hidden the deceased for one day before the cold blooded murder. The police are on the look out for the two accused, Vinod Kumar Yadav and an unknown native from Mumbai in connection with the murder case”, DySP Gaonkar added.
