QUEPEM: Bike rider Karan Naik, a 27-year-old resident of Ambe Udak, Sanvordem was seriously injured after he was hit by a truck on Thursday.
According to information available, the speeding truck was alleged overtaking when he hit the two-wheeler. The impact was such that that the bike was crushed under the wheels.
The bike rider, who was rushed to Hospicio, Margao, was later taken to GMC hospital, Bambolim as he suffered seriously chest injuries.
Kudchade police have registered a case of accident and inquiry is underway.
