Margao reporter ads: Aam Aadmi Party on Saturday hailed the move of Pernem Police for arresting the youth allegedly involved in the thefts of over 15 bikes.

AAP spokesperson Adv Malisa Simoes said that such crimes involving Goan youth exhibited a sign of decay in the system that has not been helping youth to follow a guided path to be good citizens.

Adv. Simoes called for a humane approach to the issue by taking them on a path of correction.

She said that even a study in the behavioural pattern of youth would show that the government has failed to meet their aspirations as there was no credible youth policy in the State with the Youth Affairs Ministry of the government in deep sleep mode.
