Bike thefts reported at Panjim, Mapusa

PANJIM: Two incidents of stealing two-wheelers has been reported at the Panjim and Mapusa police stations.

Asoka Oli, residing at Dona Paula lodged her complaint stating that some unknown culprit committed theft of her two-wheeler GA-07-V-0711, while it was parked in an open place.

The value of the stolen two-wheeler is Rs 40,000 approximately.

The Panjim police have registered the case under section 379 of IPC and PSI M Naik is conducting investigations.

In another case reported at the Mapusa police station, a two-wheeler belonging to Vaibhav Suman Chhabra of Moira-Mapusa was stolen by unidentified person while, it was parked in an open place. The value of the stolen two-wheeler is Rs two lakh. Head constable K Naik is conducting investigations.
