PANJIM: Co-founder of an online food delivery service among students, Avidipto Chakraborty, a student of BITS Pilani, Goa Campus has topped CAT 2016 with a 100 percentile score. He beat 2.3 lakh applicants competing for admission to the prestigious Indian Institute of Management and other elite business schools.
Focusing on mock tests and analysis generated therein, he pulled off the academic achievement without any coaching classes.
According to the institute PRO, a 2012-batch student and currently in his final year, Avidipto has several achievements to his credit. He holds first rank in the Economics Department at BITS Goa and has been Chief Coordinator (head) of the Department of Sponsorship and Management, a student body charged with raising funds for and managing the finances of the national-level student festivals on campus.
While on campus, he co-founded Xinger, an online food-delivery service popular among students. Avidipto is interning with Nomura Services India Pvt Ltd as part of the Practice School program. The PRO further said that he has secured a job as Business Analyst at McKinsey and Co and wants to pursue an MBA from IIM-Ahmedabad in the future.
