MARGAO: Goa Trinamool leader Luizinho Faleiro on Thursday hit out at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for removing TMC posters and hoardings and replacing them with the saffron party’s hoardings to please Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
“This is not just brazen use of power but also violation of the State order”, he said.
Luizinho said all the posters and hoardings of the TMC were removed after issuing the circular by the Power Department. However, now they are being replaced with BJP posters and hoardings.
“This is not the right thing. One must first follow the rules if they want to be followed by the others. The BJP government today is abusing and misusing the powers just to satisfy their VIPs”, Luizinho charged.
He said he is happy with regard to the 10,000 jobs to be filled before the elections Code of Conduct. Too little, too late!
“What was the government doing for the last ten years? 10,000 jobs for 10 years? What are you going to do about the two lakh educated Goans youth who are waiting to get employed? We have engineers and post-graduate youth who are unemployed”, said Luizinho.
