PANJIM: Bharatiya Janata Party, on Friday, demanded immediate suspension of Director of Health Service, Dr Rajnanda Desai over job recruitments in the department, in violation of the model code of conduct that has come into force in Goa from December 24.
In a press note issued Friday, BJP has requested Election Commission to initiate necessary inquiry into the recruitment process in health department and to issue orders suspending Dr Dessai.
“It has been observed from the news items published in various newspapers that the flying squad raided the office of the Directorate of Health Services and seized 18 offers of appointment,” the press note by BJP state general secretary.
