PANJIM: BJP President Sadanand Shet Tanawde has urged the Goan population to cooperate with the ongoing Janta Curfew in order to fight COVID-19.
“The number of cases in the country is rising. We have to support this initiative. The government needs cooperation from the people because it is in the interest of the public. We are fortunate that Goa has not recorded any positive case as of now. We need to support the government to ensure Goa continues to remain safe and as such, precautionary measures like Janata Curfew have to be supported by everyone,” he said. “I appeal to all to stay indoors and to venture out of the homes only in case of emergency or for essential commodities,” he added.
