VASCO: Vasco MLA Carlos Almeida said some decision on the appointment of a chairperson and vice chairperson to the Mormugao Municipal Council will be taken up late on Tuesday evening in a joint meeting between the BJP party president Sadanand Tanavde, Chief Minister Dr Pramod Savant and Urban Development Minister Milind Naik. He was also supposed to be in the meeting.
“On Tuesday evening we will have a joint meeting and by Tuesday night something will be finalised as the aspirants will be filing nominations for both positions on Wednesday,” said Almeida.
