PERNEM: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Tuesday informed that party is in talks with Former chief minister Laxmikant Parsekar who recently resigned from BJP and will be contesting as independent from Mandrem constituency.
CM said, “We are in talks with Parsekar. We are sure that we will definitely succeed in convincing him to change his decision and get him back into BJP”, Sawant said.
Sawant was addressing media during filing of nomination of Mandrem candidate Dayanand Sopte nomination.
Sawant also said that people of Mandem will not only vote for MLA but for future minister. “Mandrem needs a minister and people will get it as Dayanand Sopte. People of Mandrem will not only vote for MLA but for future minister,” he said.
