MERCES: With a section of the media reporting that some BJP workers had demanded an end to the BJP-MGP alliance in the State, Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar and PWD Minister Sudin Dhavalikar sought to downplay the issue by stating that it is the opinion of individuals and not of the BJP.
Replying to queries on the issue by the media, Dhavalikar stated that these are individual opinions of some BJP workers and not of the party. “The BJP-MGP alliance is strong and we will together fight the next Assembly elections,” Dhavalikar confidently stated. Parrikar too downplayed the issue by stating that every individual has got his own opinion. “If one section of the media has got one opinion, it does not mean that all sections will have the same opinion,” he shot back.
