VASCO: A ten-candidate panel was declared by Vasco BJP MLA Carlos Almeida on Thursday for Mormugao municipal polls. Almeida when sure about victory of his candidates but also wants Milind Naik backed aspirants to win but at the same time he insisted that Naik should be dropped as a UD minister for stability in the Mormugao municipal council.
Almeida added that some councilors backed by him has done several works in their respective wards and expressed confidence that his all ten candidates will win in this municipal council elections.
Commenting on the previous council panel backed by Almeida, he mentioned that for last five years his panel gave stable council except few months when the Kritesh Gaunkar was chairperson. Almeida also mentioned that two more candidates will be declared within two days after discussion and sorting out some issues.
