BJP Rattled as Intelligence Report Suggests Congress Winning South and Stand 50:50 Chance in North – Amit Patkar

Congress Party is all set to face the Elections and win both Seats in Goa. BJP is rattled with the Intelligence Reports which show Congress winning in South and stand 50:50 chance in North Goa. We are confident that we will win North as well, stated Congress President Amit Patkar. 

“We are confident that we will win in the North as well,” declared Amit Patkar, indicating the party’s determination to secure both seats in Goa. Patkaemphasizeded the historical sacrifices and contributions of Congress leaders to the Indian freedom struggle and the liberation movement in Goa.

Highlighting the party’s legacy, Patkar recounted the milestones achieved under Congress governments, including significant contributions to nation-building such as the establishment of institutions like the National Institute of Virology, pivotal initiatives like the Green Revolution, and historical events like the Liberation of Bangladesh and India’s First Nuclear Test.

Patkar also underscored the party’s role in advancing technological and educational fronts, launching space missions, enacting crucial legislation, and empowering marginalized communities. He juxtaposed these achievements with the BJP’s tenure, accusing the ruling party of undermining democracy through defections and violating the election code of conduct.

BJP Violating Code of Conduct

Addressing concerns over BJP’s alleged violations of the election code of conduct, Adv. Carlos Ferreira called for action from the Election Commission, highlighting instances such as the use of BJP paraphernalia in government functions. Ferreira warned of legal action if the violations persist.

Yuri Alemao, Leader of Opposition, hailed Congress’s legacy of empowering women, citing the party’s historical nominations and legislative efforts aimed at bolstering gender equality.
