Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has said that the BJP is ready for Panchayat elections and they have no ulterior motive in delaying elections. While in court the government submitted that monsoons were the reason for delaying panchayat polls, but the Cm now says he wanted to postpone the elections due to reservations and justice for the OBC community. A legal expert however said that BJP had one year to do reservations. They have time to host the Shiv Sena MLAs, but no time to do reservations, he said.
