Sources in the Bharatiya Janata Party said that besides Chief Minister Parsekar, the party has cleared names of Rajesh Patnekar from Bicholim and Alina Saldanha from Cortalim.
Clearing the suspense in Canacona, sources said, the Bharatiya Janata Party has given Ramesh Tawadkar the go ahead as there was no other candidate in the constituency.
Sources said the Bharatiya Janata Party has also shortlisted two names each for St Andre and Vasco constituencies.
For Vasco, sitting MLA Carlos Almeida and Daiji Salkar have been shortlisted while in St Andre, MLA Vishnu Wagh’s brother Ramrao Wagh and Tony Fernandes have made it to the list.
