South Goa head Tulsidas Naik said that the remarks are not only in bad taste but also shows the “mental bankruptcy” of the so called professor.

“We also suspect vested interest in such a statement wherein Chodankar is trying to mislead the investigation process by planting misguiding stories,” he alleged.

“We therefore demand from the investigating agencies that Chodankar also may be arrested and thoroughly interrogated in order to know his motive behind creating such false stories and trying to mislead the agencies,” he demanded.

“If there was any interference from anyone from the ruling party or the government, the criminals wouldn’t have been arrested and put behind bars with such efficiency and speed,” explained the BJP while appreciating the Police Department for the swift and speedy action.

It may be recalled that the organisation secretary of BJP Satish Dhond and the party president Sadanand Tanawade had visited the crime spot on the fatal afternoon which surprised many.
