BJP to train booth level workers on COVID awareness

PANJIM: Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant on Saturday said that National Health Volunteers Campaign, Centre’s pan-India programme to take preventive steps ahead of possible third wave of COVID-19, will benefit the State. 

He was speaking at the inaugural day-long training session for doctors held at party head office. A total of 60 doctors who will undergo the training in two batches will be tasked with imparting the training to booth level workers for creating awareness and ensuring COVID-19 appropriate behaviour among the masses in their respective jurisdictions. The karyakartas who will be termed as health care volunteers will also be trained in providing basic medical help to the people in need across Goa.

The Chief Minister further assured national observer and Lok Sabha MP Vinod Sonkar that BJP Goa will take the programme to its logical end.
