PANJIM: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) general secretary Goa in-charge C T Ravi has requested Utpal Parrikar to reconsider his decision to contest Assembly elections and to rejoin the saffron party.
In a tweet, Ravi said, “Manohar Parrikar ji has always worked for BJP’s win. I request his son Utpal Parrikar to reconsider his decision and fulfil his father’s dream. Only BJP can give people a stable government.”
Ravi also announced that Union Home Minister Amit Shah will visit Goa on Sunday, January 30, to campaign for the BJP candidates contesting Goa Assembly polls fixed on February 14.
